Life can often feel non-stop; between juggling school drop-offs, work, supervising homework, and getting to after school activities, finding the time to prepare and pack healthy school lunches can be challenging.

Deciding what to put in a lunchbox is often the hardest part. A little bit of lunchbox planning can help tick the lunchbox packing task off the list. Some preparation that you could do for the lunchbox includes:  

  • chopping some extra veggies the night before,
  • preparing a healthy filling ready to pop into a sandwich,
  • making a batch of fresh dip,
  • or popping some leftovers in a container ready for adding to the lunchbox the next day.

Having a few go-to recipes in your back pocket can also help with planning lunchboxes. We have pulled together some of our favourite recipes that introduce a variety of ingredients to the lunchbox and better yet, can be made in advance.
