Crunch & Move

Crunch & Move

Encourages kids to crunch on veg and move their body every day in May!

Crunch&Move aims to get WA primary school aged children crunching on vegies and moving their bodies every day in May.

The event is free for all WA primary schools to participate in and will run throughout the whole month of May.

Crunch&Move is building on our much loved March Munch event and going one step further! This event aims to provide kids with the motivation to crunch on vegies as well as move more with their mates every day! Moving more has lots of benefits, such as boosting mood and increasing classroom focus.

Students pack vegies only every day for the Crunch&Sip break.

Students pick a daily movement to build strength, balance and coordination.

How to participate?

Register your classroom(s) using the form below and receive lots of exciting free resources to kick off the event for your group.

Each class will receive a calendar card for every student, stickers to record daily achievements, prizes to hand out, plus a classroom fitness dice and a set of yoga cards to use as a guide.

If your students prefer to step outside and move their bodies in a less structured way (dancing, jumping, running, skipping) then go for it! Just remember to make sure they record the moves they choose on their calendar card. It all counts!

Register before Wednesday 17 April and your classroom will go in the running to win one of ten $50 vouchers to go towards new sports equipment to share.

Help spread the word and let your parent community know about Crunch&Move by downloading letters for families, newsletter snippets, social media tiles and more.

Vegetables for Crunch&Move are provided daily by parents in the same way as Crunch&Sip.
