Apple Crumble

Ingredients
- 3/4 rolled oats
- 1/4 cup wholemeal plain flour
- 3 tbs brown sugar
- 2 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tbs butter, melted
- 6 apples, cored and chopped
- 2 tbs cornflour
- 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 spray olive or canola oil spray
Method
Pre-heat oven to 180oC. Lightly spray a 20cm square tin with olive oil spray.
For the crumble topping, mix together the oats, flour, brown sugar and one teaspoon of cinnamon in a bowl. Make a well in the centre and pour in the melted butter. Mix well to combine.
Toss the apples in the cornflour, remaining cinnamon and nutmeg in a bowl until completely coated.
Transfer the apple mixture to the prepared tin and gently press down. Sprinkle evenly with the crumble topping. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the apples are tender and the crumble is golden.
