What it's about
The Great Carnival Crunch is free for all primary schools in Western Australia and can be enjoyed alongside your sports carnival day, cross country training, or any other sporting event throughout the term that suits your timetable.

The Great Carnival Crunch kicks off in term THREE!
This exciting event encourages children across WA to come together and crunch on veggies in a way that is fun, full of hype and super entertaining!

How to Crunch!
Register for The Great Carnival Crunch and receive your event pack containing faction themed bunting, cheer squad accessories, plus our brand-new veggie chant for the school to learn. Nominate your cheer squad (we suggest school leaders) and assign them the task of teaching all students the chant. Feel free to add some choreography and encourage all students to get excited about refueling with veggies at their next sporting event.
How loud can your school cheer? Count the number of students and adults cheering and enter your results in The Great Carnival Crunch survey to go into the prize draw.
You can choose how and where your school participates – during a small group activity, a whole class training session or to kick off the annual sports carnival! Let your parent community know by downloading letters for families, newsletter snippets, social media tiles and more.
Vegetables for The Great Carnival Crunch can be provided by parents, sold by the canteen, purchased by the school/parent association or donated by local green grocers.
Grants of up to $50 are now available for participating schools to assist with the purchase of fresh, crunchy veggies.
Follow the steps below to apply for the vegetable grant. You MUST regsiter for The Great Carnival Crunch event to be eligible.
Step 1: Register for The Great Carnival Crunch using the form below. If you do not register for the event, you are NOT able to apply for a vegetable grant.
Step 2: Once registered for the event, download the grant application form and email it back to us
Step 3: Receive approval from the Crunch&Sip team via email
Step 4: Purchase your fresh produce for the event
Step 5: Submit your receipts and an invoice so that we can process your grant and reimburse funds
Display The Great Carnival Crunch Chant where everyone can see it. Assemble your cheer squad to lead the students and start your cheering, then refuel and reach for fresh, crunchy vegetables together.
